INTERILLUSION

INTERILLUSION collection – a visual expression of self-recovery through dream, contemplation and isolation. A sintesis of self memories treated in a surreal manner.

The collection creates the impression of an inner reality experiencing big emotions, such as ecstasy or doom, like Rothko’s paintings, where the color theme also comes from. It is an expression of the state of mind in general, that should lead to creating new symbols and inner identities. Transparency is a visual leitmotif of the collection, all materials used are transparent, semi-transparent or light reflector in order to create the impression of translucency when it contacts the light. The idea of kaleidoscope is played by the network of translucent material (PVC), which creates optical illusions in light. The innovative process consists in obtaining a new pattern of sequins (perforated and sewn on the surface of the material) that creates these illusions, but in the mean time it keeps the overall appearance of the material.
