The project “Bulletproof” is inspired by clothes as a medium of body protections that investigates the functional side of the garment, minimizing it’s aesthetic value. Taking armour components, bulletproof vests, sport undergarments, the project tends to reconfigure them into a collection that highlights “the absolute protection” both physical and spiritual.

The physical protection is suggested by the silhouettes in Y, X, H and the elements taken from the structure of PPE (personal protective equipment), “spiritual protection” is provided by calm, nonviolent chromatic, soft and transparent fabrics. The collection is not supposed to protect the body itself, but only tends to suggest the idea of defense, expressing, rather, the notion of “antibulletproof”.
